a "sinister" polyathlon

I know about the winter biathlon, and the modern pentathlon, and of course there are triathlons for long-distance cardiovascular glory hounds.

But I had this idea tonight for a mix of swimming and archery. But I don't really know enough about swimming or archery to know how it would work. But to do it like a winter biathlon, where you carry your weapon, that's interesting. Swimming with a bow on your back, then getting out and shooting.

But would you have to carry your arrows as well? Presumably. And sodden strings and arrows sound difficult and heavy.

Hm. What else would go in such a contest?

It honestly hadn't occurred to me that Elizabeth Shue, Elizabeth Banks, Jeri Ryan, and Rachel McAdams look alike. But I can see it. Or rather, the other three all sort of resemble Elizabeth Banks. Actually, this should really have Kristy Swanson.

So that could be a substitute or spiritual successor to the Poppy Montgomery/Nicole Kidman/Naomi Watts team-up I want to do.

Alternatively, Amy Adams/Rachel McAdams/Isla Fisher.

And then of course, Gingerpocalypse, with Felicia Day and Karen Gillan as the cousins of Alicia Witt, Khrystyne Haje, and Molly Quinn.
