I haven't posted here in 90 days! Wow! Well, I think I commented on something on s_d in that time, but keeping up with flist, no.

So, who's still around?

beccaelizabeth is thinking about how worldbuilding is more fun than chronicling actions of your characters. Hm. maybe the trick is to write scenes without knowing what the context is, and let your worldbuilding come accidentally. I don't know, that's pretty weird, but it does mean you're writing scenes as scenes.

lizbee is reading the Hugo noms, apparently. They're bad. Huh. When did I last read new(ish) science fiction? Whatever, I've learned not to care about novels. And sci-fi often has a lot of crap in it to pad out to a novel.

_marcelo is getting pretty far into altfic with his minifics.

k-box has an icon of Van Damage? No, I think it's Bruce Willis, and I don't know much more than that. Also been gone?

ETA: I wasn't real clear. You don't have to be a Bussell, I'm just calling it, "Bussell family drawing game," or, "Bussell," for short, because it was inspired by a story Shinga Bussell told about her family. It doesn't have to be finished art, or pretty, it can be a doodle. The original game was, "draw something while this song plays."

I didn't mean to put anyone off with the big complex photocomposite/render, it's just actually easier to do that on my laptop than draw. Well, maybe not easier, really.

And if you'd rather write something, that's OK.

Also, please repost, it's meant to be a chain letter of creativity. I think I'll start one every few days to a week for a while, with a different song each time.
