I didn't watch a movie to review last night. I did watch The Good Guys.

I found this episode a bit disappointing midway through. Not the show, I like the show, the plotline. I kind of wanted to see ( spoiler )

As for Dan: Good lord, I knew he was wacky, but the pilot didn't leave me with the impression he was this bonkers & incompetent. Wowza. OK, maybe I am disappointed in the show. But he's a good shot, though.

Where is their superior, played by Diana-Maria Riva? I'm having flashbacks to Lana Parrilla vanishing from Spin City. Did she test badly with pilot audiences? Did the director think that audiences would be confused with two brunettes in an ep? Am I just overthinking this? (The ep worked without her, but still, weird.) Or did I forget her appearance?

Nice to see Steve Valentine again. "...a complimentary chocolate on your pillow."
