found a bunch of my old Flash comics in a box. :) I was so in love with him.

I remember a few different runs of The Flash, but maybe not the same ones.

when I was a kid I was into the reboot Barry Allen run (I think it was from the 50s) but I had like, the #3 from when they renamed it The Flash (even though it was like #115 in number or something.) I treasured that puppy, the artwork was amazeballs. Of course, my mom chucked it when I was in college. MOM WTF. the thing I loved about The Flash was the inventive ways they came up with to use his superpower, and he was always outclassed but a decent guy. they didn't do as much of the usual superhero bullshit with him.

but my diggings are from my latter day obsession in early 2000 and Flash's return. Some really gorgeous art by Alberto Dose. That was also my Tank Girl period. :D

eta: oh wow, Barry died in Crisis on Infinite Earths. I do remember that.

I haven't read a whole lot of the Barry Allen stuff. Some of the issues near the end of his first run, with Infantino art.

I have a few of the Wally West issues from the 1990's.
