Last night I dreamt that I was hearing Paul McCartney perform a new song, sort of an, "I'm old enough to be cranky & tell you all what I really think," thing. The last line, iirc, was something about wishing he could sit down to talk to a politician & not stand up at the end liking them less. The other line I almost remember (& maybe where I came in) was about Hollywood being full of unlikeable people (& maybe something about fake breasts). OK, fine. Then I saw him in an interview explaining that it was a John Lennon-written song really, & he sung it as a tribute 'cos he missed John. [And yeah, I know that John died before breast implants became ubiquitous; that's mild for changed premises in my dreams.]

What does this tell me? Despite pretending that I am a bigger Who fan to be contrary, I actually like the Beatles more than I admit. Even John.
