The Wedding of River Song

I just finished "The Wedding of River Song." This is about as fast as I ever see a new episode of Doctor Who. But I had to see them pack all this in. And it was indeed jam-packed.

Oh, the Doctor lies, he lies. He wasn't really 200 years older at the beginning of the season, was he?

And finds a way to keep his Stetson on throughout the episode, Amy or no. Which is good, Stetsons are cool. I hadn't quite expected that he could survive the attack inside that thing, but it's an elegant solution. A Doctor inside a Doctor suit. Which he kept on--even growing a beard for it--as time went blooey. Note also that we didn't see him change when Amy gave him the suit! And this explains why it was important to burn his "body."

Ooh, the subversion of mopey Doctor!

I was leaning hard toward the Flesh John Smith solution, but this works better, and explains where "future" Doctor's TARDIS got to--he's still got it!

One thing I did get right is what the question was. Pretty obvious, though midway through I started really wondering if it was something more, y'know, practical.

Also, at the end, poor, poor Amy. You're his mother-in-law!
