I meant to mention that if I played table tennis, I might consider the ball speed of the games unrealistically slow, & the play unrealistic.

But I forgot, & it was just a wry aside. The ball speed is fine for narrative purposes, & I really don't know enough about good table tennis play to say much about the rest.
